Gastrointestinal Bleeding is also known as Gastrointestinal Haemorrhage. It predominantly takes place in the intestinal region (GI Tract) i.e from mouth to anus, like vomiting red blood, vomiting black blood and stools are dark red and dark black etc. sometimes bleeding flows inside the tissues by rupturing the inner walls of the tissue without any symptom, the major bleeding called upper Gastrointestinal bleeding. These cause the peptic ulcers, variceal bleeding by liver cirrhosis, Intestinal Cancer. Upper Gastrointestinal endoscopy is the foremost step in the Gastrointestinal bleeding (GI) for therapeutic purpose if the consequence rules out any upper GI bleeding, then colonoscopy is preferred for convincing that the bleeding is in the lower GI tract. Microscopic levels of bleeding can lead to anemia over time, and more massive amounts of bleeding can lead to death. Gastrointestinal Bleeding causes many severe and several problems inside the intestine. Upper GI bleeding has been Assessed to represent for up to 20 000 deaths yearly in the United States.
